She dumped me for reasons not very clear, after 3-4 months I began to show more and more interest which resulted in her becoming distant and less interested in me. The sex stopped and communication decreased until finally I forced the issue and asked why she pulled back. She wasn’t clear exactly why but mentioned that I liked her more than she liked me. She has had nothing but praise for me and has been very vocal about how I am an amazing person and so loving and warm and kind to her and how she really likes that. She apologized for not showing up in the relationship today and when I told her that I am going away for good she told me she doesn’t want that. We never had any fights but I noticed that the more I expressed myself true self and feelings for her the more I got punished. This has been a very healthy relationship otherwise and filled with communication and respect and honesty but one thing I have learned as a man is that I can’t open up to a woman without consequences and her punishing me for that. It’s a rough life out here for a man who loves as hard as I do.
