A few weeks ago, i called it quits with my partner of 8 years. She committed an infidelity some years back. It would have been different had it been some random, or had i been a shitty partner. But it was her ex. The one she hated. Never wanted to ever see again. The one we agreed she wouldn't have contact with. I thought i could deal. I can't. I doubt anyone truly gets past a partner fucking around. I could never make someone feel that way. But, to the point of this post: during the, "we aren't working anymore, please leave" talk i had initiated, at one point she starts with, "I'm not leaving you bcuz of hatred, we just aren't good together anymore, ya know". I said "of course i know, im the one who brought the shit up. I know you aren't leaving from hatred, you're leaving because i don't want you here anymore". What kinda crazy tries to take over the breakup?
