He ended it about two and half weeks ago after about a year, and being long-distance (UK-NZ) for 3 1/2 months at the time. I didn't want it to end, but all his reasons made sense so I'm not at all angry with him, and my super sadness only lasted a couple days, now just sort of a numb sadness. We're basically on a we'll see what happens when we see each other again thing (no idea when that'll be so I am letting it go).

We agreed we'd keep in touch, feel like we're best friends, and don't want to lose that, but giving each other space first. We actually talked the next day (or same day for him -time diff.), and was mostly just like us hanging out, and I asked if it was OK to not remove my fb status for a bit, to avoid the comments etc. Contacted him after about 10 days, lost my job and needed to chat (I still don't have many confidantes here), and he brought up the status thing, asking what he should say to people. I took it down last Wed (waited until my night so it'd be his Thu morning 'cause they were having a Halloween party at their flat)... I just took it off instead of going "single", and I've noticed he still hasn't changed his.

Does it mean anything, or is he probably just being lazy and doesn't care that much about his fb appearance?
