Ex said I miss you and I want to talk to you and then unsent the dm
Post Body

He broken up with me 11 days ago, after 5 days NC he started sending me reels/random sc videos of his life and we started making small talk. I told him it's very hard for me to talk to him at the moment, that I won't block him or anything like that but I want him to talk to me only once he is ready to talk about reconciling.

After 2 days he replied saying it's hard for him and that he misses me and wants to talk to me, and that he's working hard to sort the issues that led to the break up. When I didn't reply he unsent the DM (he is restricted so he doesn't know if I had seen the text). I was actually going to reply to him and say we should have a chat about us and the relationship, but now I'm not so sure.

Why would he delete the message? Does he regret sending it or was he annoyed that I didnt reply? He also messaged me random stuff on sc and tiktok and I didn't reply to either. I don't want him to think I am avoiding him but I also don't know how to tell him that I can't be there for him any second after he was the one to dump me.

He is a good man and always treated me with respect, we had some communication issues and were both stressed for reasons unrelated to the relationship. I do want to get back with him but I want it to be clear what needs to be different if we get back together.
