Anyone else make the mistake of making their person their only friend?

I’m an introvert with social anxiety, and unfortunately being in a relationship was the majority of my social life. My ex was my best friend. I socialized a little at work and in hobby settings, but I really only have a couple people I feel like I could reach out to as a support system at this point.
So now I’m just overwhelmingly alone. And I hate it. I know I have to go out and make friends. And on some level I believe that I can do that. But it’s going to be hard and take some time. So for now I’m just stuck with is feeling of empty loneliness.
