Dumpers are on this Reddit for healing too. Please stop vilifying us.
Post Body
Too many people on this subreddit want to make all dumpers villains and heartless monsters that gave up on love. It’s not always true.
I loved my boyfriend so much. My heart was shattered. I cried my eyes out for weeks and still lay awake at night wishing things could have been different. But they weren’t different. We couldn’t be together. The relationship turned toxic and was only causing us both pain, so I made the hard decision to end things.
Please do not discount our pain. It’s just as valid as yours. Our tears are filled with just as much disappointment and devastation, and being invalidated like that can be really damaging.
