I followed this recipe but I didn’t have any of the vegan substitutions so I just made it with butter and milk.
Sooooo delicious!! I look forward to comparing how the vegan version is but I can imagine it’s just about as perfect as the dairy version.
I’m not a huge fan of making bread cuz I’m silly and started with sourdough, but the recipe is super simple. Not the longest proofing process either, so that’s nice.
Definitely will be my party staple for something delicious to impress people with my cooking skills. Little do they know, it’s really easy!
One thing worth noting is that, with the dairy version, the dough is super wet and requires several tablespoons of additional flour to get the dough to come together. Not sure if it’s any different with the vegan recipe. Just follow the recipe quantities and add one to two tablespoons at a time until it comes together.
It’s cooling right now but I may post a photo of the inside in the comments if I remember to take a picture once we break into it!
