Credit Card Address?

I'm trying to use an American credit card on Americanas, but it keeps rejecting for a "data discrepancy." I assume it doesn't like the address.
Does anyone have any advice on how to set my address on the credit card? I have it written as Avenida Doutor Mario Guimaraes. I'm not sure if Avenida should be abbreviated, etc., and Americanas won't give me any information outside of the auto-generated response.
