I’m by no means “good” at Brawlhalla. I played for about a month in 2020 and lost interest. I started playing it again a little while ago and when I was finally prepared for ranked the first match I get (keep in mind my Elo is 1234) is someone with a gold border and gold 3 pfp. I got destroyed and thought it was weird I was paired with them. I played more and more ranked games and I got people my own rank up until about a month ago. I was high silver and I got three more gold players in a row. I wasn’t that surprised so I kept playing. I was back up to mid silver and I matched with two plats in a row with the border and all, and I got destroyed. I was really surprised because I wasn’t any where near platinum. I am still in silver and I get consistent gold matchups more so than silver ones. I win some and lose some but I wanted to know why this is.
