There needs to be a massive overhaul with SP/Gadget balances:

There are way too many abilities that are either useless, bad, or always better/worse no matter the circumstances, throughout the game. Also, we aren't receiving nearly as much balance changes as we should with almost 60 brawlers in the game at this point. A lot of them have been nearly if not completely untouched for years despite lots of them needing some drastic changes. I know that making every ability balanced at once would be impossible, but there are very few brawlers throughout the game where you can have a choice between abilities.

Star Powers

Band-Aid:

-No longer resets upon death

Hyper Bear:

-Now also increases bear movement speed from Slow to Normal

Shocky:

-Now baseline but deals 25% less damage for every additional bounced hit and they are 7% faster

New Shocky SP - Permanently increases Scrappy's damage output by 40%

Dyna-Jump:

-Is being removed from normal matches, BUT it will be available as an option in friendly rooms and training cave for Lukiebear and other Dyna-Jump enthusiasts to still enjoy.

New SP: Canary's Call

If Dyna's super hits an enemy, his main attack explosion delay will be 0.3s shorter for 5s

Circling Eagle:

-Now a baseline ability

New SP: Eagle Eyes

If Bo is within 4.33 tiles of an enemy, he will gain a 25% shield

Snare A Bear:

-Decreased stun duration from 2s to 1.5s

Automa-Tick Reload:

-Increased reload speed boost from 9% to 13%

Screeching Solo:

-Increased damage from 1000 to 1200

Medical Use:

-Increased healing from 400 to 500

Thorny Gloves:

-Now instead provides a 40% damage boost rather than a fixed amount

Rolling Reload:

-Increased duration from 5s to 7s

Master Blaster:

-Increased damage from 1000 to 1600

Power Throw:

-Reworked to where instead, it will provide a 25% damage boost when the pickaxe travels forward

Mama's Hug:

-Increased healing from 48 to 70 per scrap

Home Run:

-Increased movement speed boost from 12% to 15%

Honeycomb:

-Now instead activates a 40% shield anytime she doesn't have her supercharged shot

Hard Landing:

-Now baseline with damage starting at 1000 at base level

New SP: Detergent

Increases main attack range by 38% (goes along with my prior rework concept)

Fisticuffs:

-Replaced with new star power but the life steal is being increased from 35% to 50%

New SP: Time Leaper

Edgar's super now auto charges 10s faster

Business Resilience:

-Increased healing every 2s from 15% to 25% of missing health

Foot Patrol:

-Reworked to where it now provides a 25% speed boost depending on how much super is charged

X-Factor:

Decreased damage boost from 30% to 20%

Wisdom Tooth:

-Doubled the range and damage of each projectile

Spirit Slap:

-Reworked to where it now provides up to a 30% damage boost depending on how much super is charged

Super Charged:

-Decreased time to charge full super from 68s to 52s (buff)

Chain Reaction:

-Increased damage boost from 10% to 15%

Carrion Crow:

-Now provides a 30% damage boost instead of a fixed amount

Curveball:

-Decreased angle by 25%

Force Field:

-Decreased shield duration from 30s to 15s

Heavy Metal:

-Now baseline starting at 1500 damage at base level, and charges her super slightly.

New Heavy Metal SP:

Her mech now decays 37.5% less per second

To The Max:

-Now a baseline ability

New SP: Beginner's Stage

Surge will now gain a 40% shield while he is in his base form (level 1)

Field Promotion:

-Increased trigger radius by 33%

Grounded:

-Now also drains 67% of enemy ammo

Sealed With A Kiss:

-Increased healing from 100 to 180 per projectile

Vocal Warm-Up:

-Decreased focus boost from 30% to 20%

Gadgets

Fast Forward:

-Now also provides a 25% speed boost for 3.5s

Bear Paws:

-Decreased stun delay from 1s to 0.75s (buff)

T-Bone Injector:

-Increased healing from 1500 to 1800

Fidget Spinner:

-Increased damage from 1200 to 1800 and will now charge Dyna's super slightly if it hits an enemy

Satchel Charge:

-Decreased stun duration from 1.5s to 1s

Tripwire:

-Decreased explosion delay from 1.5s to 0.75s

Mine Mania:

-Now affects every attack for 6s but the additional mine count is being decreased from 3 to 2

Extra Credits:

-Now fires 18 consecutive lasers in a wide zig-zag pattern like Pam's main attack, and the unload speed is now quicker.

Speed Zone:

-Increased zone HP from 1000 to 1500 but now decays 5% of maximum HP per second

Protective Tunes:

-Reworked to where it will now provide a 20% shield to himself and all allies within range for 5s, instead of providing immunity from negative effects for 2s.

Multiball Launcher:

-Increased damage from 300 to 450 per ball and now provides a slowing effect for 2.5s

Bouncy Castle:

-Now stops healing after the second bounce of each projectile, but the healing was increased from 200 to 250 per bounce (max healing of 2500)

Recoiling Rotator:

-Increased total projectile unload speed by 25%

Salty Barrel:

-Decreased barrel health from 2000 to 1750

Heat Ejector:

-Increased total burn damage from 1200 to 1600 (300 to 400 per tick)

Rebuild:

-Increased terrain restoration radius from 1 to 4 tiles

Auto-Aimer:

-Now shoots all enemies/pets within the activation radius

Pulse Modulator:

-Increased healing from 1200 to 1500

Scrapsucker:

-Decreased ammo drainage from 25% to 20% and consumption from 50% to 20%

Active Noise Cancelling:

-Increased duration from 1.5s to 2s

Extra Sticky:

-Increased slow duration from 2s to 3s per bubble hit

Rattled Hive:

-The bees will now travel faster, spread apart, and pierce through enemies again

Let's Fly:

-Reworked to where Edgar's next super will have 20% more range and 40% faster fly speed

Hardcore:

-Now only decays 5% health per second, but the shield is being decreased from 2000 to 1500

Radio Check:

-Projectiles will now move along if Grom moves during the boosted attack's duration

Crash Test:

-Increased dash damage from 300 to 800

Psychic Enhancer:

-Increased duration from 4s to 6s

Vengeful Spirits:

-Increased damage from 1000 to 1500 and now charges his super slightly

Sneaky Sneakers:

-Reworked to where the player will now manually tap the button once, and activate it a second time to teleport back to the initial location. If Max moves outside a projected 8.67 tile radius however, she will automatically be teleported to her initial activation coordinates with a gadget consumed.

Porter Reinforcements:

-The porter will now have the same HP as a regular porter at the same level, but will now have an added health decay of 10% HP per second.

Windup:

-Now also doubles the projectile speed of the next attack

Residue:

-Decreased duration from 10s to 8s

Defense Booster:

-Increased shield from 40% to 50%

Slowing Toxin:

-Decreased duration from 5s to 3.5s

Popping Pincushion:

-Projectiles will now curve in an angle the same as Spike's Curveball, regardless whether he has the SP equipped or not

Clone Projector:

-Now takes 25% more damage (from 50%) than Leon.

Sleep Stimulator:

-Decreased healing delay from 2s to 1.5s

Sweet Dreams:

-Reworked into a 2.5s slow rather than a 1s stun

Tool Box:

-Increased box radius by 50%

Spring Ejector:

-Increased launch distance from 6 to 9 tiles

Twister:

-Decreased duration from 10s to 8s

Ice Block:

-Increased immunity shield duration from 1s to 1.5s and can now move while the shield is active. He cannot attack however.

Air Support:

-Decreased rocket deploy time from 3s to 2s

Reverse Polarity:

-Now also provides a 50% damage boost towards the next main attack if it bounces

Chill Pill:

-Decreased maximum healing from 2500 to 2000

Rotten Banana:

-Decreased current health loss upon activation from 40% to 25% (buff)

Freeze Frame:

-Decreased shield from 75% to 50%

Stunt Double:

-Increased Lola and Clone healing from 350 to 800

Corn Fu:

-Increased damage from 500 to 600 per kernel

Roundhouse Kick:

-Increased stun duration from 0.5s to 0.75s

Motherly Love:

-Increased healing from 300 to 380 per hatchling

Drop The Bass:

-Decreased effective radius by 23%

Dormant Star:

-No longer removes all other starfish at once if an enemy goes over a star.
