The newly added gadgets and what I think of them:
Post Body

Jacky - Rebuild:

This gadget at a first glance, seemed really cool and useful, but soon after its release, I think we can all agree that this gadget is quite bad compared to the other. There are so many wall breaking abilities that can easily counteract the restored structures, and the radius is so small. It's not entirely useless or complete trash, but I can see this gadget being buffed in the foreseeable future.

Amber - Dancing Flames:

Similar with Jacky, Amber's new gadget is awful. 500 damage with slow-circulating projectiles in a small radius provides almost no utility compared to her other gadget, which is inarguably by far the better option.

Meg - Tool Box:

This is certainly one of the better brand new gadgets released in this update. I unlocked this gadget from the free update mega box, and its quite fun to play with. However, there is one major issue, the tiny radius. This makes it hard for teams in 3v3 modes to utilize the gadget much, without being decimated due to being clumped up into one small spot. Overall, I think it's an alright gadget and Meg can benefit from this quite well under the right circumstances.

Surge - [New] Power Surge:

I just knew from the first few matches I encountered and played against Surge, that this gadget is absolutely busted, and needs an emergency nerf. And no, I'm not joking. This gadget allows him to rush up to enemies, gain his super while doing so, and cycle it over and over again thanks to his new adjustable super range. He has also seen a reSURGEnce in Solo Showdown, and in fact, has become a much more prevalent pick than before. Same for 3v3s as well, especially in Brawl Ball due to his knockback feature.

Surge - Power Shield:

Not as great as its counterpart (due to the sheer strength of his other gadget), but is a really solid option and exemplifies Surge's play style. This also helps along with his slow reload speed, to gain all of his missing ammo back immediately after taking damage incase he somehow manages to get himself into a pickle.
