First time watcher of the RHOC and are up to season 4

It’s been a bit boring but understand they were getting the formula right as the first franchise. The cringe factor of Vicki and how much her kids detest her is hysterical.

In season 4, Tamra throws a dinner party where she is heard multiple times telling Vicki that she is going to get Gretchen wasted so she makes a fool out herself. Her son is playing bartender and continues to give her shots she doesn’t ask for and filling up her glass.

When it’s obvious she is wasted, the son starts hitting on her like some desperado. Jeana tries to take the shots and alcohol away from her when she isnt looking, and the son moves them back in front of her and serves her more shots. Lynne also sees the issue and offers to take her home, and Tamra shuts her down and says that she will stay at her home, with the desperate son at this point rubbing Gretchen’s back.

Gretchen then goes to the bathroom, and the son follows her in and she tells him to get out several times that can he heard over the mic. He tries to come onto her multiple times and she says no multiple times! Production are standing out the front of the door and can hear the whole thing. She finally gets him to leave.

I think given the Brandi/Caroline stuff, it’s so clear Bravo thought this is what good tv is as they literally filmed and aired this footage with no issue.

It’s totally made me see that Tamra is disgusting. She had so many chances to tell her son to back off, instead she encourages it.

Bravo really had no care factor for the wellbeing of these women. Gretchen’s husband was dying at the time too!
