New to brat taming as a switch/soft dom, would appreciate any advice!

Post Body

I'm just starting a play relationship with a brat, and I'm personally more of a switch who has never interacted with brats, but I have to admit the dynamic really pulled me in as soon as we gave it a try. When I am domming normally I'm also more soft about it, and I'm not an overly assertive person in everyday life so it's tricky to get into that more authoritarian space that I associate with my understanding of the "typical" brat/tamer relationship. I'm also more of a pleasure dom so I naturally drift toward things that are more like funishment, which is a good time for both of us, but maybe not the full experience as I understand it.

I guess what I'm asking for is advice for someone with a soft dom style and not much experience in punishment who needs ideas on how to "quietly" tame a brat and assert that control, and how to find actual punishments since I don't naturally come up with those.

And of course, all this is assuming that the two of us are talking through everything and making sure we're both on board with whatever I bring into the play.
