My Brat is getting so predictable

Post Body

Last night, while writing out her lines as she does every day, she got a bit of a rebellious urge. After writing them all out properly (for once, shock) she decided to doodle in the margins. I think she’s shared one of her little pictures of me here before, but it was not flattering - she seems to think I’m some sort of Sub for her. Delusional, right?

Obviously, I couldn’t allow the disrespect to stand, so told her if she didn’t want to write the entire page of lines again, she’d tear out the drawing and destroy it in front of me. Deciding the easier option was not having to write, she dutifully and carefully tore around the drawing to get it off without damaging it. Red flag #1.

Next, I ordered her to tear the picture up, so she wouldn’t be tempted to post it here as if it was some sort of ‘victory’. She held up the paper and tore it up, with the drawing facing away from me. Red flag #2.

Entirely familiar with her games, I called her out on it. Sure enough, it wasn’t her drawing she’d torn up, she just thought i was stupid enough to take her at her word. Wrong again. With the image facing me, she tore her ‘beautiful’ artwork up with me watching into large pieces, dropping them in a pile in front of her. Red flag #3.

But I know my brat, and her penchant for altering things after the fact to try and get one over on me, and it didn’t take me long to figure out what she had in mind.

“Do you have a glass of water handy?”

She looked at me perplexed for a moment, and it took a few seconds to realise what I had planned for her.

“No, sir” she said, smirking, thinking that would save her. “I already drank all my water just like you wanted me too.”

“Then you’re just going to have to find some other source of water to destroy that picture”

Her face dropped. I can’t decide which I loved more - the way her face dropped as she realised I know exactly what she was planning to do (sticking the image back together, and probably adding that I’d trusted her to the list of things she’d make fun of me here for) or the defeated look in her eyes as she put piece after piece of her shredded drawing into her mouth, until her precious artwork was nothing more than a few splodges of pulpy wet paper and a dumb humiliated brat 😈
