My Owner tagged me in a comment regarding intellectual bratting and how to do it, and I thought I would make a post about how I do it generally. Contributions from you lovely lot in the comments is also welcome as always :).

By definition, I view intellectual bratting as something that's above basic bratting. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with going 'make me' and gaining consequences that way, I do it myself, but sometimes I prefer a little more effort and really earning my punishment.

The ways I do this are by taking elements of his interests and personality and making them sassy. So for him, he's an intelligent nerd who loves puzzles and his neurodivergent self likes to figure out patterns. So for me, I know he's figured out my tells and my 'I'm going to brat' phrases, so I can utilise those to make him hunt out my brats, give him fun puzzles to complete and challenge him in banter using what I know about him to elevate my brat plans and give him something more than what I call bratting 101.

Now of course, if your person is neurotypical or hates puzzles, these won't work. You'll just end up with an angry Dom pissed off at you. The point is to take what you know about them and find ways to turn it into sassy stimulation for you both.

I also don't mess with his hobbies much, I will light or basic brat if he's around but I won't risk fucking up his passions or pull him away from them if he's engaged to the point I'm getting no response, just because I want attention. They're his to enjoy, just as I have my hobbies to enjoy.

So that's pretty much how I do it and keep my Owner on his toes in varying ways. What about you?
