SEASON SYNOPSIS:
Episode 1 – The game kicks off quickly, Goma & Raituhn tribes immediately play their very first immunity challenge of the season, which Goma comes out on top in. They win 50 waterproof matches as a reward to go with the safety. Back at the winning tribes camp, everybody is impressed with Wayne, who performed very well in the immunity challenge. The players noticed this and are keen to work with him moving forward. Meg approaches Eric, and she notices that he is a bit shy. She decides to spark up a friendship with him, as he reminds her of one of her siblings from back home. Eric opens up to her and the two of them form quite a bond from the jump. Later, Croissant is looking to form an alliance, as she wants to ensure her safety. She approaches Eric, who she thinks has a nice, but easily manipulated vibe & Wayne, who has already proven to be a physically strong player in this game. The two of them agree to join her, for now. Thrilled with her success, Croissant goes back to camp to lounge around and rest. At Raituhn, with the first tribal council looming over them, the players are starting to feel the pressure of the game creep in. Jack takes the lead on shelter building and the gathering of supplies; this makes the rest of the tribe respect him and everyone is impressed with his leadership skills and strength. Kelley however, is less than willing to help around camp. Shaun, who is a hard-working soldier, does not seem to like her attitude and tells her to get up and pull her weight around camp like everyone else. This rubs Kelley in the very wrong way and the two bicker about it. Later in the day, Jack, being the self-appointed leader of the tribe, approaches Shaun who he deems a strong and loyal player. The two of them want to form a 4-person alliance. They bring in Archie and Taylor. The first alliance of Raituhn is formed.
Tribal Council – Raituhn tribe settle down and get ready to vote. Shaun, as heroic and humble as he is, he also does not forgive and forget easily. He convinces his alliance to target Kelley, who he deemed to be ‘dead weight’ earlier. Christine and Megami decide to stick with Kelley, to not let the boys of the tribe gain control too early on. Cody decides to vote for Kelley along with the 4-person alliance. Kelley flips them all off as she leaves by a vote of 5-3.
Episode 2 – The next morning, Goma and Raituhn tribes are given the surprise option to switch tribes. If they choose to do so, they will immediately leave their beach and move to the other tribe’s beach. The only player that steps up to mutiny is Valerie, who doesn’t seem to completely grasp the rules just yet. Valerie will now compete on the Raituhn tribe. The newly formed Raituhn tribe with Valerie on board win the reward challenge. They win pieces of a map to a hidden treasure chest and the chance to loot the other tribe’s camp. At the immunity challenge, Goma manage to claim victory for the second time in a row. When they return to camp, Goma tribe are elated to be safe yet again. Meg continues to form bonds with her tribemates, showing off her social prowess. First, she bonds with Ben as they both talk about growing up with many siblings. Then, she bonds with Croissant over the adversity that they both have faced in life for being a little quirky and more out there. This causes Croissant to rethink her whole game, and she leaves the alliance that she herself created just a few days ago. At Raituhn, Archie suggests that the alliance of 4 brings in a new member. He suggests Christine, who he really likes. Christine becomes the 5th member of the Raituhn alliance.
Tribal Council – Initially, Valerie becomes the obvious target to be voted out. However, things shift very quickly in this game. Due to his very young age, being only 19, Cody doesn’t seem to be taken very seriously by his tribemates. They consider him young and naïve, and a bit of a liability. The alliance of 5, including Megami, all vote for Cody in the end, due to him being underestimated. Valerie, who really likes Cody and his young energy that he brings to the team, votes with him. Cody and Valerie vote for Shaun who they see to be somewhat of a ringleader. In the end, Cody is devastated when he must leave in a vote of 6-2.
Episode 3 – It is another day in the game. Raituhn tribe win reward for a second time this season. They win comfort items and get to send a player to loot the other tribe’s camp. They send Valerie who is excited to go and say hello to her old tribe. At the immunity challenge Raituhn Tribe finally manage to win their first immunity this season! At Goma, Croissant buddies up to Wayne, who she already bonded with earlier as she sees him as a strong physical player. The two of them get along quite well. Jazelle has a meltdown as the stress is starting to take a toll on her, also, the lack of mascara isn’t helping. Croissant and Wayne decide to revive their previous alliance with Eric, this time they bring in Megan who they think is a great social player and a big asset moving forward. At Raituhn, alliances are shifting. Taylor leaves her original 5-person alliance, but a new 5-person alliance is formed of the same exact set up, except without Shaun and with Megami. Archie, Christine, Jack, Shaun, Taylor & Megami now form the majority alliance, though is a crack forming already?
Tribal Council – At the Goma tribal council, Croissant and Wayne’s alliance of 4 target Jazelle after her breakdown at camp. Meg convinces Ben to join them as the two of them have a bond forming. Big T feels bad for Jazelle, as he hates seeing anybody be picked on or left out, and he votes with Jazelle. Unfortunately, this is not enough to save the beauty influencer who leaves by a vote of 5-2.
Episode 4 – Goma tribe wins the following reward, which is a sewing machine & material. Additionally, they get more pieces of the treasure chest map & the opportunity to send Eric over to loot the Raituhn tribe camp. At the immunity challenge, Raituhn manage to claim victory for the second time in a row. In a twist, they must choose to kidnap a member from the losing tribe, this player will no longer attend tribal council. They kidnap Croissant, who will rejoin her tribe in the morning. Back at Goma, the pressure gets to Big T, who has a fragile soul despite his very big build and being 6 ft 3’. He has a meltdown due to feeling left out among his tribe, which triggers feelings from his past. Despite being a big physical asset to his team, he hasn’t felt very appreciated by them. At Raituhn, Megami and Taylor have a disagreement due to both of their strong and stubborn personalities. This causes Taylor to leave the alliance with Megami in it, as she refuses to work with ‘that old cow’ (her words, not mine). Witnessing all this drama, Christine decides to sunbathe on the beach and not get involved in any shenanigans at this time.
Tribal Council – Things are not looking up for Big T, with Ben, Eric, Meg & Wayne all being in an alliance together. Despite being hurt by the situation, Big T is aware of how this game works, and he holds his head up high as he leaves by a vote of 4-1.
Episode 5 – At the reward challenge, Raituhn win lots of comfort items & pieces of the treasure chest map. Croissant, who is still part of the Raituhn tribe chooses to share the reward with them before rejoining her original tribe. At the immunity challenge, Croissant rejoins the Goma tribe, but she isn’t of any help as Raituhn win their second immunity challenge in a row. Back at Goma, Wayne and Eric bond strongly. Eric is taken aback by the fact that someone who looks like Wayne (muscular, physically strong and confident) would want to be his friend. Wayne, due to his kind nature feels drawn to Eric and feels the need to protect him in this game. The two of them become friends. This exchange gives Eric the boost of energy to work hard around camp to impress his tribe and Wayne, he becomes tired and rests afterwards. At Raituhn, Taylor is putting her sneakiness and flirtatious abilities to use, as she and Jack bond. After her talk with Jack, Taylor starts a fight with Valerie by pointing out that her hair is starting to look like a rat’s nest because she hasn’t brushed it for days. This gets under Valerie’s skin and the two have a major fight. Unbeknownst to Valerie, this is all part of Taylor’s plan, as Valerie is already on the outs of the tribe. Taylor wants her to further put a target on her back so nobody on the tribe will want to work with her, which will keep Taylor safe. Megami leaves her alliance with Archie, Christine and Jack, as she struggles to find things in common with them.
Tribal Council – The 5 players of the Goma tribe find it difficult to vote, as they have all been quite close with each other. Unfortunately, Eric & Wayne stick together. Moreso than that, the alliance of 4 of Croissant, Eric, Megan & Wayne also stick together. Leaving Ben on the outs all alone. The moment is quite wholesome, as Ben is proud of his younger tribemates, and he wishes them all luck as he leaves by a vote of 4-1.
Episode 6 – The Goma and Raituhn tribes compete for reward & immunity. Raituhn tribe manage to continue their streak of dominance over Goma, breaking the Goma four’s morale once again. At camp, Goma members are stumped by yet another loss, they are hungry due to not winning the rewards for quite some time. On top of that, they must now vote off one of their own, after the 4 of them have gotten quite close. Things are about to get tough… At Raituhn however, Valerie can’t seem to catch a break, as she gets into a fight with Megami this time. Valerie considers Megami to be a bit rude at times, which ends up with the two of them bickering. Christine decides to leave the alliance with Archie, Jack and Shaun, and only remain in an alliance with Archie and Jack. She likes both Archie and Jack, but Shaun is starting to rub her the wrong way with his constant talks about heroism and virtue. Taylor decides to have a make-shift camp spa day as she is tired from all the challenges & scheming.
Tribal Council – After a lot of deliberation, the Goma 4 cast their votes. It is a tie, with 2 votes towards Meg & 2 votes towards Wayne. Due to a tie, the votes will be recast. The 2 cast votes are for Meg & Wayne consecutively. The vote is deadlocked. Croissant and Meg, decided to stick together. Wayne & Eric have also stuck together. The alliance of 4 is forced to go against one another this early into the game. Because the vote is a deadlock, rocks are drawn. With a 50/50 chance, Croissant and Eric pull rocks. Eric ends up with the white rock, meaning that he will be leaving tonight. Croissant & Meg are both sad to see him go, even despite voting for him. Wayne is crushed as he told Eric he would protect him. Eric leaves with no votes against him, he tells his friends to crush the other team as he leaves.
Episode 7 – The morning is chilly in the Maldives, as the castaways wake up, they feel something looming over the island. At today’s immunity challenge, the first 6 eliminated players are introduced as a special 3rd tribe. Everyone is flabbergasted. Kelley, Cody, Jazelle, Big T, Ben & Eric are all back in the game. The outcasts will compete in today’s immunity challenge and if they were to win, they will be able to vote one of their own BACK into the game. In an unexpected turn of events, The Outcasts tribe wins the immunity challenge beating both Goma & Raituhn. This means, that both Goma & Raituhn will attend tribal council, both tribes will vote someone out tonight. Following this, The Outcasts will cast their votes and TWO of them, will be returning to the game. At Goma tribe, Croissant and Meg have a minor disagreement, the two of them, despite being friends, are also quite threatened by one another’s strategic & social game. Cracks within the duo seem to be showing. At Raituhn, for once, things are quite calm, could it be the calm before the storm?
Tribal Council 1 – The alliance of Archie, Jack & Shaun decide it is time to vote for Valerie, who they perceive to be the biggest fuel of drama at camp. Christine votes with the boys. So does Megami, who doesn’t particularly like Valerie anyway. Valerie is very excited to be going home as she wasn’t enjoying her tribe or the island life at all. She leaves by a vote of 5-2. Everyone on the Goma tribe is confused as to who voted with Valerie. Turns out it was Taylor, who is secretly trying to pin this vote on someone else to cause mistrust among the tribe.
Tribal Council 2 – Croissant, Megan & Wayne approach the tribal council area quite defeated. They cannot seem to catch a break in this game. As the votes are cast, Wayne is ready to go home as he believes it is his time to go. In an unexpected turn of events, Croissant flips her vote and backstabs her friend. Meg is blindsided, but takes it well, saying she would have done it herself if she could. Meg leaves by a vote of 2-1. Wayne wipes off a nervous bead of sweat as he can’t help but think whether his closest ally and friend Eric will be able to get back into the game.
Episode 8 – Outcasts Tribal Council – The first 6 eliminated players enter the tribal council area. All 6 of them state one by one why they believe they deserve to return to the game. They then all cast 2 votes each, based on who they believe should get another shot and represent them all in the game. In the end, Jazelle, Eric & Ben are all neck and neck, with the results being 3 votes for Jazelle, 4 votes for Ben & 5 votes for Eric. Meaning that Eric and Ben will both be returning to the game. Ben and Eric will receive immunity at the first merged tribal council.
Back in the game, former Goma and Raituhn members find out that they will now be part of the merged tribe – The Eku tribe, wearing red. The final 8 players also meet with Eric and Ben, who have now earned their way back into the game. Old friends are reunited. At the very first individual immunity challenge of the season, Shaun is determined to do well, he manages to win the first immunity challenge of the season and will be safe tonight. At camp, Croissant knows that she is in the minority, so she decides to approach Jack, who she sees as a big and influential player from the other side. The two of them enjoy strategizing together, and bond slightly. Ben and Eric form a strong bond over being the two returning players, they want to protect one another as they know things will get tough.
Tribal Council – The original Goma tribe members all stick together with Ben, Croissant, Wayne, and Eric all voting for Archie, who they think is the glue that keeps the other team together due to being a very likeable player who is friends with everyone on the other side. Megami, who hasn’t felt particularly embraced by her old tribe also votes for Archie. The rest of the Raituhn five all vote for Wayne, who due to his physical appearance is a clear threat to them. The vote is a 5-5 tie, therefore a revote must occur. In the revote, Ben panics and flips his vote from Archie to Wayne in the last second. Which results in a 6-4 vote. Before he leaves, Wayne says goodbye to Croissant, Eric & Ben, who he believes were the one who stuck by his side, despite Megami actually voting with him and Ben being the deciding vote against him.
Episode 9 – Shaun wins the reward challenge and shares it with Jack, the two of them have breakfast on a yacht and bond further while strategizing about their path to the end. At the immunity challenge Christine comes out on top! She will be safe at tonight’s tribal council. Back at camp, Archie and Christine form an even closer bond, due to both being in their thirties they have a lot in common and a lot of things to talk about. The two of them have formed a genuine friendship in this game. Meanwhile, Ben is worn out from the physical aspect of the game, as well as from the paranoia and guilt he feels for voting out Wayne last tribal council and blaming it on Megami.
Tribal Council – At tribal council, Shaun and Jack are confident in their plan that they devised during their reward on the yacht. Archie, Christine, Shaun & Jack all vote for Ben. They believe that Taylor will definitely be on their side, while not particularly caring about whether Megami has flipped to the other side or not. The alliance of Croissant, Eric & Ben all vote for Shaun, who they think has been running things for too long. Megami, who does not like Shaun at all votes with them. Leaving Taylor as the deciding vote. Taylor decides that this is her chance to make a move and she also flips to the original Goma side, voting for Shaun. The Raituhn four and especially Shaun are all blindsided. Shaun still doesn’t quite believe how things went wrong as he leaves by a vote of 5-4.
Episode 10 – Tensions are high back at camp. Jack, Archie & Christine are all still stunned after being blindsided and after losing one of their closest allies in Shaun. The other side feels a sense of pride after pulling off the blindside. At the next reward challenges, all players must compete in randomly assigned pairs. Jack & Croissant, who have bonded a little earlier, prove to be quite a good duo and work together very well. They win the reward and go deep-sea fishing together. At the next immunity challenge, Archie shows off his skills and wins immunity. He felt like he needed it after being blindsided at the last tribal council. At camp, Croissant and Jack further expand their bond. The two of them have formed quite a friendship, which could help them moving forward as they are on opposite sides at the moment.
Tribal Council – In one of the most unpredictable tribal council’s this season, alliances go against each other. Ben and Eric, despite previously agreeing to vote together are now going against each other, after Ben admits out of guilt that he was the one to flip on Wayne. This makes Eric very angry, and he rallies Croissant to vote for Ben with him, claiming that Ben is not to be trusted. Jack votes with them as Croissant and him have been getting quite close. Archie follows Jack’s lead and the 4 of them cast their votes for Ben. Christine feels left out by her allies, as she votes for Eric with Megami, Taylor & Ben, thinking that was the plan all along. The vote is a 4-4 tie, but in the revote Croissant convinces everyone to flip their votes to Eric, as she is too scared to draw rocks for a second time this season. Eric leaves feeling betrayed by a vote of 6-0.
Episode 11 – Cracks are starting to form in old alliances as the lines between what were once the Goma and Raituhn tribes are blurring. Jack wins another reward and gets to spend the night back at camp with his loved one. This boost of morale motivates him to win his first immunity challenge this season. Guaranteeing his safety. Back at camp, Megami has a meltdown, she is frustrated that she feels like she is constantly on the outs in this game. Taylor decides to rest once again, as she believes things are falling into place for her.
Tribal Council - At tribal, Jack, Croissant, Taylor, Ben & Archie all vote for Megami for being a nuisance around camp, and because none of them have a particularly strong bond with her. Christine is once again left out of the vote, which makes her really upset with Archie who is meant to be her closest ally in this game. Megami leaves by a vote of 5-2.
Episode 12 – For today’s reward challenge the players are split into two teams of 3. Archie, Christine, and Jack win and are treated to an overnight spa visit. At the reward, Christine expresses how betrayed she has felt the past two tribal council’s when Jack and Ryan have not filled her in on who they are voting for. She is especially hurt by Archie, who she has been very close with from the beginning. After this, Jack wins his second immunity challenge this season, guaranteeing his safety. At camp, Christine seeks to start forming connections outside of the group she has been working with, she bonds with Croissant and expresses that she wants to work with her going forward in the game. Meanwhile, Taylor is showing her true colors to her tribemates when she has a meltdown at camp over not being picked for any reward challenges this season, which is getting under her skin.
Tribal Council – Ben receives votes against him for the 4th time in a row this season. He is voted by Archie, Christine, and Jack. Archie also receives 3 votes from Taylor, Croissant, and Ben. The vote is a 3-3 tie. In the revote, Jack decides to flip over to Croissant’s side and surprisingly Christine also flips and votes for Archie, who she has not been seeing eye to eye with the past few days. Archie is blindsided by his allies and must leave by a vote of 4-0.
Episode 13 – The final 5 prepare for one of the most important immunity challenges of the season. At the reward challenge Jack manages to score yet another victory, he shares the reward with Christine to prove to her that he is still willing to work with her. At the immunity challenge, Ben manages to score his first win of the season! Back at camp, despite their joint reward the alliance between Christine and Jack fizzles out due to mistrust, without Archie the two of them can’t seem to get on the same page anymore. Croissant and Jack decide to work together since they have been quite close for some time now, they also ask Taylor to join the alliance who they consider the strongest from the other 3. Jack decides to rest before the tribal council later in the evening.
Tribal Council – At tribal council, Christine finds herself under fire. Ben and Christine vote for Jack, claiming he is a huge threat to win immunity and eventually the whole game. Luckily for Jack, his newly formed alliance sticks together, and it is Christine who has to leave the game in a vote of 3-2.
Episode 14 – The final 4 compete in a trivia immunity challenge against the 5 jury members. Jack wins his 3rd immunity this season. At camp, things are quiet as Ben seems to accept defeat against the strong alliance of three.
Tribal Council – At tribal council, things go according to plan for Taylor, Croissant, and Jack. Ben is asked to leave by a vote of 3-1, he accepts defeat with grace.
Finale – Jack wins the final immunity challenge of the season. A big decision awaits him. Tribal Council – Jack must choose to eliminate one of his allies, either Croissant or Taylor. In the end, he casts his vote for Croissant, who he sees as a strong social threat who can beat him in the final two. Croissant feels betrayed by her closest ally, as the two of them have been working together for the majority of the merge. Croissant leaves with 1 vote against her.
The two finalists, Jack and Taylor, are ready to face the jurors. Each juror steps up one by one to ask each of them a question to determine who they will cast their million-dollar vote for.
Jack – Jack established himself as the leader of the original Raituhn alliance very early on, which drew the other players towards him and allowed him to form strong bonds and alliances very early on. He has successfully manoeuvred losing his closest ally in Shaun early in the merge, and forming new important bonds due to his strong social game with Croissant who he was able to dominate most of the merge alongside. He successfully blindsided his former allies in Archie and Christine and won 4 individual immunity challenges to get to the spot that he is in right now. Will his social and physical game be enough to convince the jury?
Taylor – Taylor found herself in the majority of her tribe early on in the game, which allowed her to survive the early votes. Later, she let her attitude and conniving nature get in the way when she left her alliance and became a lone wolf. She was successful in taking out her enemies in Valerie & Megami by ensuring that they were in the minority without a way out. She has used her vote to trick the other players and make allies go against each other. Her biggest moment was being the deciding vote to get rid of one of the biggest players of the game in Shaun. Despite her attitude she has managed to position herself in a powerful position and was able to crush anybody that was conspiring against her. Has she made enough friends to win over the jury?
It is time to reveal the winner...
With a final vote of 4-3…
The winner of Mack’s Survivor: Maldives is…
Jack! Congratulations to Jack for becoming the 7th Sole Survivor of Mack’s Survivor! Congratulations to u/FrieNads for submitting the winning player this season.
