Welcome to Mack’s Survivor: Reborn! This is our third season of the series, which will take place in the Greek Isles*. We have 16 new faces fighting for the million dollar prize and the title of Sole Survivor that comes with it!*

The two tribes have been named after none other than Greek islands, which fits perfectly with the theme and location of the season.

Thoughts:

16th ->! James - Always sad to see who goes home first. I wish we got to see more of him!!<

15th - DeeDee - She didn’t seem to integrate well. Quite sad to see her go this early!

14th ->! Eva - She was one of my pregame favs! She was in a tough position with the other 5 being in an alliance, there wasn’t’t much she could do.!<

13th - Melina - In 4 episodes she had 2 major meltdowns. I can see why her tribe wanted her gone asap.

12th - Kurt - He went into the swap with a numbers advantage but he was too crazy to be kept around it seems. The guy had multiple meltdowns in just 5 episodes.

11th - Flavio - This was very unexpected. He only went to 1 tribal council but he was in a great position in the game and basically at the top of the Poros tribe. Without him Elka and Ethan could be in trouble.

10th - Mateo - He wasn’t very well connected, but he was a very nice guy and I wish he had more of a chance! Solid merge boot,

9th ->! Aiza - OMG, another medevac. This is quite insane. I feel bad because she was very well connected in the game! She was most likely going to make it to the endgame with her alliance. Sad to see her go. Robbed.!<

8th - Joby - With Aiza leaving he was in trouble. Elka and Ethan are chumming up to his closest ally Raoul and Leilani abandoned that ship long ago. He needed a miracle to survive this unfortunately.

7th - Grayson - As a character Grayson was great! But as a game player, I didn’t see much from him. He made it quite far and I didn’t see him try to form any bonds or try to make many moves at all. Sadly, as I think he had a chance to form something with Leilani and Raoul’s side.

6th - Lizzie - Her rivalry with Elka was quite funny. Elka and Ethan were her biggest threats but she couldn’t do much about it. Once again, too little too late here.

5th - Iseul - WOW, what an odd tribal council. It seems like the final 5 is all aligned with one another in different ways. Iseul was the unfortunate casualty. Her unexpected duo with Leilani was cute. She was great socially but strategically I think she needed more work!

4th - Raoul - I liked Raoul but I am very confused with his gameplay! He had multiple chances to do something and his votes just didn’t make a lot of sense.. Including in this f4 tribal council. I know he was close with both Leilani and Elka & Ethan, so it seems to me that he may have been conflicted and almost gave up? Either way I really liked him as a character.

3rd - Ethan - He had an amazing social game, he was probably the bigger reason for why Elka and him were so well connected throughout the game. Leilani made the right choice in taking him out as I think he had it in the bag from here. Great player if not the best this season perhaps?

2nd - Leilani - She played a great game, from the premiere where she was basically controlling Ithaca with her alliance to the merge where she was basically on good terms with everybody. I think she needed to take Raoul to the end to win because the duo of Elka and Ethan were just too powerful. She had a higher chance agains Elka but it just didn’t work.

Winner - Elka - Wow, what an interesting winner! I am happy with her win. Was she the best game player? I guess one could argue either way, but she was definitely entertaining. She was quite social but also made a few enemies when she started fights with several people on the tribe. She had a great ally in Ethan who kept her grounded and was a big part of why she got to the end and won. They were a great duo and Elka was a fun and entertaining character.

Overall - This season was… a little bit of a mess wasn’t it? Lots of interesting things happened and a lot of interesting characters. Many fights and vote offs that didn’t quite make a lot of sense. The medevacs were sad, the conditions weren’t great. I didn’t see much incredible gameplay but the personalities definitely made up for that. The final 6 especially were the highlight of the season.
