Hi. New here. Trying to put a name to the symptoms. I will be specific. Smoked a ton of weed daily for years and the first time I quit for several months (2018) , I immediately saw an improvement in clarity, sharpness, memory, dreamsā¦ Started back up in early 2019 and just quit cold turkey January 15th. I have not experienced that improvement at all this time and itās been like blue balls. Im waiting for that sharpness, vying for that memory. My motivation has definitely been better, I basically quit TV, but I feel dull mentally specifically with memory recall Other variables: I currently am on 50mg seroquel and hoping to be done with that soon, but its been a bitch to kickā¦(down from 300mg) Had mild Covid 12/30-1/3/2022 Had 2 pfizer shots in august of 2021. Live a pretty active and stressful life.
Primary complaint: example. Just was on work trip. Was taken to a fancy dinner with colleagues. Went to bed. Next morning in breakroom, another employee point blank says, āwhere did you guys go last night?ā And i literally blanked. Completely had no idea what to say. And started talking around the answer until the restaurant name came back to my head maybe 15-20 seconds later.
It might sound minor, but this is constant. I cannot recall what I did the day prior. I think this is why I love routines. Church on Sunday, gym same times several times a week, bowling tuesday, repeat things. But the memory recall is worsening and I donāt know why quitting weed has yielded poor results.
Hope this fits the sub Thanks for reading.
