Post Body

I am a Physical Therapist. It all began while I was giving an evaluation, I felt super light headed like my BP had dropped significantly... but it was normal. Ever since that day, at least a couple times a day I get the same feeling. Sometimes it lasts minutes sometimes HOURS. No other symptoms really, just lightheadedness and a little “brain fog”. It’s like my head isn’t getting enough Oxygen but my O2 sats are normal.

I assumed it was Vit B deficiency so started taking Vit B 12/complex. Nothing changed.

I’ve had every blood panel performed. I have slightly high cholesterol (206) slightly high “Thyroid Peroxidase” (39) and super low Alkaline Phosphate (15, which they say is not a worry). MRI on brain last October was normal. CT scan of sinus and neck was normal. Chest X days normal. ENT check ups normal (besides a deviated septum). Upper Endoscopy revealed very minor Gastritis.

Blood pressure is always between 100/63 - 120/80. Usually on the lower side. Only has been high (153/96) once in the last two weeks of monitoring.

It is not Orthostatic Hypotension. I’ve had that checked three times.

So... ANXIETY? That’s what I keep being told. But I cannot accept that. I have a beautiful fiancé, an amazing career, supportive family and friends, and had no stress in my life when these spells started. Does anyone have similar symptoms?
