Tonight in my scoutmasters minute my scoutmaster compared our troop to a noisy loud Italian family saying that we were similar because there are so many people talking loudly nobody can hear anything. I'm of Romani descent and we are genetically very similar and from very similar regions and I've always hated that stereotype as it's extremely demeaning and found myself truly embarrassed by the things he was saying. The reason I'm posting here is because I want an outside view on if anybody else agrees or if I'm just overreacting I'm willing to accept that maybe I'm just emotional as I do have a complicated past with this leader and am genuinely looking for input from people of this group as well as people outside of this ethnic group as I believe all opinions are valid.
