EDIT: A huge, huge shoutout to u/mlager8 who managed to find a previous auction listing for this book. I appreciate you all upvoting for visibility/looking for me!

Below, I have copied a letter I sent to u/silky_johnson

Hi!

I'm fairly inexperienced in the boxing world, but I really need some help, and wasn't sure if the subreddit was a proper place to ask about it.

My grandpa has loved boxing since he was a teenager, and over the years has managed to put together a full, PSA graded set of 1948 Leaf Boxing Cards. When we were talking on the phone last week, he brought my attention to the existence of a collectors album for the cards that you could buy for a proof of purchase and a quarter, way back in the day.

Edit: I may be wrong about the complete set, as I forgot about the rarity of the Rocky Graziano card. He might possibly have one, though.

I've spent the past two days absolutely scouring the internet, trying to find even an IMAGE of this album, to absolutely no avail. I have proof that it existed, but I can't seem to find a trace of one. I was wondering if you have a picture of one, or know a collector that has a picture of one? Or even any more information about it? My grandpa is a wealth of information on the boxers of the 30's all the way to the 70's, and he has somehow never seen one of these collectors album, in all his years of searching. If I could even show him what it looks like, I think it would mean a lot of him.

Thank you for reading!

In short, I would love to just find a picture of this 1948 Leaf Collectors Album for my grandpa. I think it would make his day. It's basically his Holy Grail after decades of collection. Thanks for reading!
