Upon watching Usyk vs Fury last weekend I can’t help but think that Fury would have won if he was fully dedicated to the sport. He gave Usyk a hell of a fight and he wasn’t close to being in his best shape no disrespect to Usyk. It was a clear and cut case of hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Boxers like Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather never left anything behind in camp. But Fury is one of those boxers who could legitimately clean out the heavyweight division if he put in max effort but is plagued by mental health issues and lack of discipline. His performances against Klitschko and the second Wilder fight show just a glimpse of his greatness. If Fury’s physique looks better than this last fight I am confident he beats Usyk in the rematch. That begs the question what are some boxers who have suffered same curse of not reaching their full potential as Tyson Fury?

Had Cus been 20 years older and kept Tyson "on track", it's possible that Tyson would be known as the best heavy weight of all time.
