Need advice.

Met someone online, and they stole something from me and blocked me. I filed a police report but I know more about them now. Know all their fam on Facebook, parole officer etc.. should I wait for BGPD or reach out to the thief and tell them I know all this new info in hopes of getting my stuff back? All the info I know is damaging and could get his parole revoked. I just don’t wanna lose the items.
I learned my lesson about meeting people online, so please save lecture.
