I'm just starting to learn the game for real. I bowl in the 150s on average (up from 100s in less than a month!). I recently got a hy-road and had it drilled. And I'm getting the hang of it. I'm really enjoying the ball and its added a level of dependability I didn't have before. Its drilled with a more angular layout I'm told by the PSO (4"x30⁰). A friend that bowls very well and buys like 3 new balls a year gave me two other balls undrilled. A black widow ghost, and a zen. I like the look of the zen a lot, and it looks WAY stronger than my hy-road. The black widow ghost looks like way to much ball for me. Should I bother to get the zen drilled though being as I'm pretty fresh to learning how to bowl correctly. Or should I wait until I'm bowling with more consistency? If I do get it drilled should I go with a more continuous layout?
