Hey all. I think I know the answer to this one but would like other opinions.
Ive been working on my release over the last few weeks and I'm noticing that as a lefty, I'm leaving a crazy amount of 6 pins and 10 pins from coming into the pocket too early/high.
I realised today that it's mostly because I'm hitting the ball before the bottom of my down swing, before the ball passes my ankle.
I made a concious effort in practice today to delay that early movement and definitely noticed a change in reaction and motion.
Could the early hand movement be a result of my feet being a touch too quick? Is it likely that the result of that being the need to try and get out of the ball earlier?
I am leaning towards yes in this case.
Keen to hear what others think.
Thanks.
