New CF owner... this an issue?
Post Body

Hi all,

Just entered the vape world with a Boundless CF. Received it yesterday and was expecting some plastic/chemical smell/taste based on my research but after 6-7 high heat burn-offs and 3 isopropyl bowl cleans, it’s still REALLY strong.

The dealer said it’s not designed to heat empty and the smell/taste with an empty chamber is normal. Boundless has offered an RMA but has made no comment on if it’s normal or not.

Not sure what to do as I don’t love the idea of inhaling some unknown noxious fumes from the manufacturing process.

What’s my best play here? Hoping someone can ease my mind.

Thanks.
