I've come to the conclusion the male of our species suffers from body image issues comparable to those experienced by the female of our species.
Too many guys who aren't underwear models with washboard abs don't like taking photos of themselves, so you maybe get a dozen close-ups of their dick or worse, nothing at all.
As a consequence these men remain hidden from the sizeable fraction of us girls who find the conventional "hot guy" relatively uninteresting while absolutely creaming over the average guy/dad bod who hits the gym maybe once every January and obviously enjoys a few beers.
