Can I ask for more time to make my decision?

I Got accepted for fall 2023 (international student), and I have to make the decision to enroll on May 1, but I have applied for a government scholarship to be able to afford the university costs and the results will be released on May 5th.
Do you think I can ask them to extend the decision date, and if so who should I contact?
