just finished reading chapter 67 and i could not help but take notice to what momoshiki said on page 40. He said "That will come to pass...even I cannot see. But It'll be soon. The time draws near. It shall be a true spectacle, lad.". Im guessing by "that" he was implying the jougan and by the "true spectacle" part im guessing he was talking about what will happen when boruto awakens the jougan, like the jougans awakening could possibly trigger something that will cause some sort of incident? well, i dont know what will happen when the jougan awakens but lets drop that for now and talk about the requirements for jougan. From piecing together info ive come up with the what seems like the possible requirements for awakening the jougan.

1. Must be a pure otsutsuki.
   Due to the timing of what momoshiki said about the awakening of the jougan ive decided that being "pure" is a condition for it. Also, it is literally called the pure eye so it would not be weird it that were the case, and even momoshiki mentioned that boruto is now a pure otsutsuki, hence meeting a condition for jougans awakening

2. Near death experience.
   This is something that i dont have much of conclusive backing to be sure about it but i think that its still a probable condition and since boruto literally died, he ticks off this condition.

3. Stimulation of emotions.
   Again not much to back it but it would not be weird if some strong emotion was required in order to trigger its awakening. Maybe, when boruto awakens he might have been in some sort of position that was overwhelming to him and that triggers his awakening and like i said before that his awakening could cause some outburst that could cause the "true spectacle" momoshiki was talking about.

Well, thats about it, although there were a lot of maybes and not much to back it, i personally think that this theory is interesting.
