I really want to love Boruto, especially as I know what it's building toward. But it just feels hollow. It has the main plot and that's it, which some people like but I want a bit more detail. Like Sarada, now has a three tomoe Sharingan. When did that happen? That was a big deal with Sasuke and with Sarada it's like "oh yea she has this now but it isn't important enough to tell you how that happened"

I dunno, I enjoy the story, I just wish there was more to it.

Edit: people have made some good points about the manga, I'll carry on reading the manga and enjoying it for what it is. But if the anime is gonna be an integral part of fleshing out the manga I really wish it was better.
