I have been waiting so long for someone to tell Boruto the truth about himself. He is so much like Naruto, he feels like he can do everything alone. Even though Naruto did things alone at first because he truly was alone, nobody liked him. Boruto does things alone because he feels he doesn't need help at all. This is exactly why he ends up cheating in the chunnin exams. The sooner he realizes he is a lot like Naruto, the sooner he can go on his own path. If he keeps ignoring the parallels then he will only end up doing the same mistakes as Naruto.
