What is your opinion on the following take: "Boruto is shitting on Narutos legacy."

Honestly I just pretend it's some weird poorly written fanfic. It's just not gonna compare honestly, it should have been it's own thing. With enough changes it could have just been it's own verse without being tied to Naruto at all but continuing it as if it's the sequel set a terrible bar that just gets it made fun of.
