I've blown through my last two paychecks on things I don't even remember buying. I've spent my own money, and I've spent some of the money in my and my wife's joint savings account, telling myself I would "put it back later."
I get paid in two days, and I have no idea how to keep this from happening again. I don't want my wife to have to babysit my independent finances. I don't want to burden her. Just admitting the mania to her has been hard enough.
Does anyone else struggle with this? How do you cope with it?
