Years ago when I was but a naive young child, I happened to meet this dude who knew how to use cheat engine. We played the original and he gave me this gun that insta killed everything, and this shield that allowed for no damage to be taken. Once I did everything I stopped playing, and moved on to BL2. Once I finished the first play through of that, I started TPS. I was playing along, enjoying the game and this guy hops in and we go to (if I remember this correctly) the place where you first meet that one scientist. He asks if he would like for him to change my game. Being the curious little idiot I was, I said yes. He started doing cool stuff like making me huge, or small, or giving me the ability to fly. After like 5 minutes, he said “Watch this.” In the corner near the action skill button, I see the amount of skill points increase from 0 to 99. I proceeded to get all the skills. I made a new character for every person and I did this with all of them. Long story short, years later I can’t play the game anymore. It crashes if I play more than 5 minutes. The resolution is also broken. I’ve already uninstalled and re installed multiple times. I’ve tried validating the games files. I’ve even tried deleting all of the hacked characters but they always reappear. Can someone help?

Edit: Maybe I should try deleting the characters in the actual game and not the files, will try it when I get home. Thought of this right after I posted.
