Will the ending of BL:TPS majorly spoil the ending of BL:2 ?

SPOILERS BELOW
I'm directly playing TPS after playing Borderlands 1.
I've encountered some spoilers from BL2 in TPS such as Roland's death at the hands of jacks and i know that Jack will die during BL2.
Research on the Internet has revealed that there are even more BL2 spoilers in TPS.
Some people think that the ending of TPS has major spoilers for BL2. Some have said that there is nothing major.
What do you guys think?
