Why do I get a (lvl 20) 92% sham and Bee on a character that isn't going to get much use with it? 🥲

Was farming the loot midgets in the Natural Selection Annex and got a 92% percent sham, and bee on a meele Krieg. Why do I always get great drops on characters that I don't plan on using that gear for? 😢
At least I'll make great use of the level 20 explosive fastball.
