Is it possible to play cross platform?

And if so, how do you do it? I’ve been talking with a wonderful person lately and we’re both into borderlands. She has never played BL2 but has the game and I mostly played alone in my lengthy runtime so far. But we wanna play together now.
I play on epic and she has a switch. Is it possible to play through these two platforms together in the same game? And if so, what needs to be done to do that?
