Old Issue I know....

Me and my friends are playing through BL2 again and we are having an issue with the cutscenes not playing. This didn't happen when we played it earlier this year and now it's having issues. I have checked my files and it patched some but the scenes are still skipping and im lost at what to do. Any advice on how to fix it?
Edit: Sorry forgot to put that this is on PC and Steam
