I have adopted a BC with a really long rough coat. It was quite matted when I got him and he had several dreadlocks. Today is his first day to the groomer and I imagine we will keep going regularly but for upkeep I was reading a recommendation that I get a coat detangling spray for brushing. Does anyone have experience with this and agrees. Any recommendations?

I was also saw a video where they said long haired dogs should be fully blow-dried when they get wet to avoid tangling and matting. Do you agree?

Can any other long coated BC owners share their advice and experience generally? Thanks
