How do you take good care of your dog’s skin and fur?

My 4 month old puppy started to itch after going out with another puppy that is not ours. He was itching normally before but all of a sudden it became a bit often to the point he’s losing hair on the area on where he scratches.
What do you do on this kind of situation? Will the hair grow back? What might be the cause of it?
