I've had a pair Timberland Earth Keepers for about 8 years now and they finally gave out on me. Idk all the terminology of boots, but the sole separated from the bottom of the silhouette(?). It looks like the soles are glued on, which surprised me. Is that typical? Or just a cheap manufacturing method? Again, idk a lot about boots and all that. I wanna get them repaired but not sure if it'd be worth it. Love their style, so I'll probably get them repaired, but also open to suggestions, if there are any, especially in the same kinda style type. I always thought Timberland's were good boots, but maybe not? If Red Wing had a boot that looked like the Earth Keepers I'd jump on them.
Thanks in advance π
Oh, yeah I did check them out, actually. Along with your other recommendation of Origin. Like them both, I had just forgotten about DMs and thought I'd get an opinion lol. Thanks again!
Thank you - really appreciate this feedback! I will definitely check out the Origin boots π If I were to get the Timberland's repaired, could a cobbler glue and stitch them back? Or since they were glued originally would that be what they'd have to do?

Very cool, thats kinda what I was thinking too. Really appreciate the info π I'll have them repaired and see how much longer they last. They lasted for almost a decade initially lol.
Didn't think about this originally, but are Dr. Marten's boots considered decent, or good? They're in that $150-$300 range, or the ones I'm looking at are, anyway. I had a pair years ago when I was in high school lol. Not sure I'd actually buy any just cuz they all kinda look the same and aren't exactly what I'm looking for. But if they're good quality, then I make an aesthetic comprise.
