I have been looking to buy a pair of cap toe boots for years now, and I'm finally ready to pull the trigger. This will be the most money I've ever spend on footwear, so I want to make sure these things will LAST. Out of these two options, which ones should be a better quality and worth the money? I've only heard good things about both brands. I'm a bit more familiar with the Thursday boots over this particular pair of Rancourts. Normally I would never consider the Rancourts for their price, but if I wait for another sale like this I'm okay with it.
Thursday Boots have Goodyear welt and look great. I don't really have any complaints about them.
Rancourt have Blake Welt and is a bit more specific about what materials they use. I'm not really a fan of how they use horsehide. I know horsehide is considered stronger and "nicer", bit l'm just not sure I can get behind the idea.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
