So my whole husband’s and my family are MAGAts except for him and I. My husband doesn’t agree with their ideals so HE made the decision to stop going over there to see them and spend time or talk to people who believe in such a vile and heinous person.

THEY believe I turned him against them even though he’s told them many times, “trust me, it’s not her”. Well, tonight she texted him an article about how a “yoga cult alienates people from their family”. Fed up, my husband called her to tell her she’s crazy. She goes off on a tangent saying all these nonsensical things about me and he defends me (his wife) and she hangs up the phone one him.

She then texts him saying she’s done and never to call him again. He texted back saying, “what disparaging thing have I said to you? My wife has never said anything about you to turn me against you. You’re the one being hostile. You’re the one in the cult. But you can’t see that because you’re too far gone. When we were growing up you told me to watch up for situations that you’re currently in. If you no longer want to see my kids and I fine. Have it your way. I love you. Have a nice life”.

Then blocked her from both his phone and social media. I’m so proud of my husband but I didn’t wish this on him. He’s taking it pretty hard but he did what he felt was right. I never said anything to make him go against his family. I encouraged him to go see them even though I knew they never cared for me but HE made the choice to not go.
