I don't really care if some of you get offended and down vote this or comment on it.
I'm a registered Democrat and 95% of my immediate family on both sides are too. We've literally never voted for a republican and that goes back 80-90 years if you include my great grand parents. We mostly live in NC and we have enough sense to know that the GOP stands for greed over people.
With that being said, I'm completely ashamed of my party after this huge election loss and we're going to have to make major changes if we want to have a democracy. We cater to the extreme woke left to try and get maybe 5% of the electorate, while we lose 20-30% of the general electorate. We need to stop looking for reasons to get offended and grow some balls. We're too scared to tout our own accomplishments when we're the envy of the world economically and militarily.
Trump will tout the economy before he even gets into office but make no mistake, it is Joe Bidens Economy. Record unemployment and job creation. Inflation went from 9% to 2% but why didn't I see any ads? Kamala's plan had major holes in it. Okay you want to give tax cuts to small business owners but what about the rest of us who don't own businesses or plan to? How are you going to stop corporate price gouging? Don't get me wrong I pulled a straight dem ticket and it wasn't even an after thought considering we're fighting fascism.
But can we stop propping up trans people? It's insanity. We cater to 1-2% of the ELECTORATE to lose 20% overall. Why didn't we run ads about Biden and the GOP senators coming to a super conservative border deal until Trump called each senator and threatened to end their careers unless they dropped it? Why did we wait 4 years to even address it, no matter how blown out of proportion the right made it, we knew it was our Achilles heel? America sides with us on a 70/30 percentage on 90% of the issues yet they won in a landslide? Some serious changes need to be made regarding who is running our campaigns. You can't be inclusive if you don't win. Why didn't we pick Shapiro as VP? He won Pennsylvania by 10-15 points. So many blunders and now we all have to pay for it, not just Dems. If we don't get this fixed and stop looking for reasons to get offended and get more towards the center our country will be gone forever.
