I had a coupon to a restaurant so I went there on my own with some art supplies and chilled. I know the bartender, she’s a cool lady.
People start talking about the election. I sat quietly working on my art for a long time, until someone started talking about how women are unable to be in charge of the country. How they are weak, unintelligent, and emotional. I just looked at him and said, “It’s sad that you look at other human beings like that.”
He had nothing to say. It’s not a huge story, but everyday I work with boomers and I always give them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, I’d be a miserable person. I hope he didn’t tip the bartender less because of it.
