The boomer went into a tirade of unhinged conspiracy theories and MAGAesque Qanon statements. Rather than be silent and trapped to listen, I instead asked the boomer, in between baseless claims and misinformation, “how so?”, In what way?”, “can you explain how that works”, “where did you hear that”?

Boy howdy did it cause the boomer to glitch and shut down her bigoted, factless claims. Merely asking them to explain their position, only to have them be stunned into silence was like a warm slice of apple pie, satisfyingly sweet. Next time a boomer goes in this anti gov. Misinformed rant, just ask “how so?” And watch them flounder.
