I have this department manager who is in charge of planning and engineering for a City. When making decisions, she will typically state, “well let’s go like that as I won’t be in a XX years so it doesn’t matter” then starts with a chuckle….

What a selfish B***h….. this seems to be the theme with older folks. They don’t care what happens in the future because they won’t be here for it.

This person is in her late 50’s with no kids to put it into context.

Have others seen this? Maybe this isn’t just a boomer thing either but maybe a larger issue…
