Mid 60s female boomer called into my job(CSR for HSA account manager) and tried to tell one of my agents she has had an HSA since the 1980s and wanted us to give her a "good customer credit". We explained to her that HSA accounts have only existed since 2003 and it's no different than a savings account at a bank and not a single bank in existence will give you credit just for having an account. Why the hell do these people feel the need to lie non-stop and demand free shit? I get that people have financial problems but her account had over $400k in it and she was asking for a $50k credit or she'd "take her business elsewhere". She fucking exploded when I told her where she could find the account transfer paperwork!
