Ever notice the most annoying gun owners are boomers? The NRA alone is made up of the worst kinds of boomers and is a major political lobbying power.

On a side note the boomers took the NRA away from land management, animal conservation, and hunting enthusiasm so it could focus on 2nd Amendment madness. Just look at their own public relation timeline before the 60's. It's fucking scary.

But beyond that the most annoying open carry assholes are boomers. Then there's all the boomers randomly pulling guns in public.

So how does that figure into Fallout New Vegas?

Let's me introduce you to the "Boomers".

They came of age during a time of isolation hidden away from problems of common people while enjoying a privileged life of abundance. All the while they were given access to loads of weapons and told it was their job to make the world normal. They treated any outsiders with new ideas or trying to change their existence as a possible threat. Usually with artillery.

But here's how they differ from our boomers.

The "Boomers" in Fallout can be persuaded to sacrifice and help rebuild a bomber plane to destroy the Arizona fascists.

Our boomers lose their mind wearing masks during a pandemic or actively rebel against democracy.
