Hey all you bookkeeping pros out there.
I've been doing research on doing bookkeeping as a side gig, maybe to replace my 9-5, maybe not. But that's neither here nor there. My question is about bookkeeper launch.
I've been going back and forth on signing up, I see the value of the class but the price is a little..scary. I would do the monthly payments not the buy at once.
So my question is, on average (since I know everyone is different I'm looking for generalities) how long does it take to get first client? Is it viable to get a client pretty quick to start absorbing the class cost?
Making time for the class is easy for me, I just don't want to get stuck paying $300 a month for a full year without some ROI
like I said, general answers since I know one of the big factors is time and personal investment. Just looking to hear some testimony on what others have experienced.
Thanks!!
